The project’s aim is to protect the rights of the children from the frontline territories of Ukraine, who know about the war from personal experience.  Our project is designed to attract the public attention to children who are permanently living on the frontline and have no childhood.

This project is about protecting the rights of children who are the victims of the conflict in the East of Ukraine. Every child has their own story...

      The first presentation of the photo project for the city’s celebration of “Europe Day” at the First European Weekend in the Kyiv Fortress.

      The photo project presentation took place in honour of celebrating the International Children’s Day in the building of the Kyiv city state administration with the support of Pecherska local government.

       

      Charity evening held in the embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine. It was held in support of children from the frontline territories of the East of Ukraine.June 2016

      On the 1st of June 2016, the International Children’s day, the charity evening was held in support of the children from the frontline territories of Ukraine in the Lithuanian Embassy based in Ukraine.

      The presentation of the photo project “Children in War” was held at the charity evening as well as the charitable children’s concert and the Ukrainian art exhibition.

      On the 4th of July 2016, the exhibition “Children in War” opened during a press-conference in Ukrinform*. This month if you walk down the Khmelnitsky street in Kyiv, you can see next to the glass walls of Ukrinform the photographs of children who had to grow up too fast. They are the children in war.

      The honorary reception dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukrainian Independence was held in the Ukrainian Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus.September 2016

      On the 7th of September 2016, the photo project “Children in War” was presented at Cyprus. We talked about the children who are the future of our country at the diplomatic reception held in honour of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.  The support to this event has been provided by the Ukrainian Embassy in Cyprus.

      The photo project “Children in War” was presented in the NATO information and documentation centre in Chisinau  at the conference “Hybrid war in Russian style”. The project is aimed at the protection of the rights of the children who are living nearby the frontline of the East of Ukraine

      Amman, JordanNovember 2016


      On the 7- 9th of November 2016, the photography exhibition “Children in War” took place in Amman with the support of Ukrainian Embassy in Jordan. Diplomats, representatives of the local media and the Ukrainian community of Jordan attended the ceremony.

      The photo project presentation successfully took place on the 25th of November 2016 in Athens. The project was presented at the conference “European safety: Eastern Europe – Ukraine – Greece. Modern international relations. Perspectives and consequences for world’s safety.” 

      The event was exceptionally well-organised. It took place in the building that belonged to one of the Attica’s municipalities, namely Papaga-Kholarga and drew attention of the respected Greek audience.

      The photo project “Children in War” was presented in Tel Aviv with the support of Ukrainian embassy based in Israel. The project presentation and photo exhibition took place in the Ukrainian Cultural Centre “Bat-Yam” in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

      In honour of the third anniversary of the Ukrainian “Revolution of Dignity”, the solemn opening of the photo exhibition “Children in War” took place in the Lithuanian parliament.

      NATO Headquarters, BrusselsApril 2017

       

      The photo exhibition “Children in War” had opened in the NATO headquarters in Brussels. Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, the Ukrainian vice prime minister of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the founders of the Baltic-Black Sea Charity Fund and Tacan Ildem, the ambassador and the NATO Assistant Secretary General for public diplomacy had opened the exhibition.
